If you are seeking assistance or wish to refer a family in need, please familiarize yourself with these eligibility requirements:
Qualifying applicants include parents or full-time guardians of children (ages 0-18) who have a serious illness, disability or disadvantage. Specifically, Variety DC focuses on children with mobility disabilities, due to cerebral palsy, spina bifida, stroke, etc.
Applicant must be a resident of Washington DC, Maryland or Virginia.
All requests for assistance must be submitted in written form and include any essential documentation related to your need. See here for details
The Grants Committee of Variety DC reviews each application for accuracy, severity of need and our current capacity to meet the given need. A representative of our committee will respond with 5-7 business days to confirm receipt of your request and provide next steps.
