Cyrus’ Story

Cyrus has severe spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy resulting in very limited control of his trunk, arms, and legs. With assistance, he can bear weight on his legs and take reciprocating steps in a gait trainer. An adaptive bike helps Cyrus work on gross motor development and mobility with greater independence.
Piper’s Story

Piper suffers from Myotonia Congenita and Paramyotonia congenita, rare genetic disorders in which an abnormality of voluntary (skeletal) muscle fiber membranes cause an unusually exaggerated response to stimulation. An adaptive bike helps Piper with muscle stiffness (rigidity), pain, and fatigue.
